📽 26 February special screenings at Cinemaholics Tbilisi - "Comfort Limit" (Alexander Koridze, 2025)

About the film:
• Director: Alexander Koridze
• Duration: 70 minutes
• Genre: Documentary

Plot:
For the last two hundred years, the fates of Russia and Georgia have been closely intertwined. Russia, as a metropolis, has consistently drawn its closest neighbors into the whirlpool of political events. History has a way of repeating itself. Now, just like hundred years ago, Georgia again risks losing its fragile democracy due to the threat posed by a formidable neighbor. The history of the two countries is seen through the lens of Russian immigrants fleeing the authoritarian regime in Russia to seek refuge in Georgia. However, the shadow of the Northern Empire also looms over this small country with weak democratic institutions, and now the threat to democracy haunts not only Russians but also the citizens of Georgia.

Alexander Koridze is a director, producer and screenwriter living and working in Tbilisi, Georgia. He has extensive experience in creative documentaries. Koridze makes films on various topics, from political to social issues, as well as artistic portraits of famous people. Alexander Koridze participated with his films at Sarajevo Film Festival, Krakow Film Festival, Fipadoc, Makedox, Beldocs, CinéDOC Tbilisi and others.
